On the question of the proclamation of a 13^th senator, it is an interesting legal question that should promptly be brought to the proper body for answers and to set a precedent for such an incident, should it occur again.

 

As we all know, this is the first time in our country that a sitting senator with an unexpired term has ran and won the presidency.
